COVID-19: Malaysia working on solution to allow citizens to continue working in Singapore

Malaysia has said it is still working on a solution to allow its citizens to continue working in Singapore, despite the movement control order which took effect on Mar 18. Speaking after a special task force meeting in Putrajaya, Malaysian Senior Minister Ismail Sabri revealed that the matter was discussed between Malaysian Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and his Singapore counterpart Lee Hsien Loong.

Open the border again, must be joking, already 900 cases in malaysia .Do it you will see huge cases increase in sin. Then lack of hospital bed ,people die and turn into next korea, italy, iran etc. This is the risk we have to bear and sin will finish if that happen. We need LKY .

Hope Singapore government no what is good for Singapore. Since Malaysia already lock down why still allowed the workers to work in Singapore. What kind of logic is that!! Pls don't spread the virus we already have many imported cases plus Singaporean coming back. Sure Singapore government will let them in la. No eyes to see.

Malaysian lockdown is useless unless Singapore does the same. There's community spread in singapore but our darn govt is not acknowledging it, and as the days goes by, they are getting less and less transparent with their reports; Don't report number of tests conducted and stopped providing details on each case, this is truly embarrassing.

‘Allow’. Trying to soften their stupidity and selfishness? What allow? After no warning or advance notice given before the lockdown. Poor workers. Also its like their own country abandoning them. Now its singapores duty to take care of them? Is malaysia going to help finance their stay here and fr accomodation. Many workers go back to their families in Malaysia. It must be v hard for them. It is not the employers responsibility ! But MOM is helping out. Its so unfair. Our resources are already stretched. If its not selfishness , i dont know what is!

There's thousand cases in Malaysia increasing rapidlly with Johor the highest. Doubt they're able to reopen. 14days partial lock down is minimal, Id can't even go through this then it maybe far worse. Imagine thousands that potentially infected but not showing up / yet to test
